# Resource Pack

## **How to Join Eluria**

### **1. Prepare Your Game:**

* **Open Minecraft** and go to the **Multiplayer** section.
* Ensure you are running Minecraft **version 1.21.4**. If you’re using a different version, update it to the specified one for compatibility.

### **2. Add the Server:**

* Click **"Add Server"** at the bottom of the multiplayer server list.
* In the **Server Name** field, you can enter any name you like (for example, “Eluria MC”).
* In the **Server IP** field, enter:\
  \&#xNAN;**`PLAY.ELURIAMC.NET`**

## **Troubleshooting Server Resource Packs and Connection Issues**

If you encounter any issues while trying to connect to Eluria MC, follow these troubleshooting steps:

### **1. Clear Your Server Resource Packs Folder:**

Sometimes, issues arise from outdated or corrupted files in your resource packs folder. Here’s how to clear it:

* **On Windows:**
  1. Open the **Windows prompt** and type `%appdata%`.
  2. Navigate to `.minecraft -> server-resource-packs`.
  3. Delete **all contents** in the `server-resource-packs` folder.

After clearing this folder, try reconnecting to the server.

### **2. Try a Different IP Address:**

If the first method doesn’t work, try connecting using a wildcarded IP address. The server supports variations of the **Eluria** MC IP, so you can try:

* **`anything.eluriamc.net`** or
* **`fixed.eluriamc.net`**\
  These alternatives should work if you're having trouble with the primary IP.

### **3. Adjust Language Unicode Settings:**

If custom models (such as hats, pets, or blocks) show correctly, but the chat displays in Chinese characters or similar, adjust your **Unicode settings**:

* Navigate to **Options** in the Minecraft menu.
* Select **Language** settings.
* **Change the Force Unicode setting to OFF**.\
  This should resolve any issues with chat displaying incorrectly.

By following these steps, you should be able to join the Eluria MC server without issues. Enjoy your time on the server and the enhanced experience provided by custom resources!
